How We Work
Who are we?
Wootton Hack Club is a new club starting in 2017 at Wootton High School. Members will explore topics in different computer science fields such as game development, algorithms, open source software or other smaller code snippets. They will learn and communicate in order to freely create their own projects, and conduct researches related to the computer engineering field.
Who can join?
Anyone! We will provide a free community for software developers and programmers to share their experiences and launch projects to collaborate, but we will also be a place for new programmers to get help from higher leveled ones. You will also have the opportunity to meet with some professional speakers working in the computer science field to further extend your knowledge.
Are we competitive?
Initially we were not at all interested in competitive programming. But this year we've decided to participate in CTF (Capture-The-Flag) online cybersecurity games to compete against other teams from other schools. Advanced knowledge in computer science, including the ability to code in different common languages, is required. If you are interested in participating, please contact Mingjie.
